Leather Type: Cashmere is 100% aniline, full-grain leather. It is tanned with minimal processing, (think soluble dye rather than painted pigment), in a Leather Working Group (LWG) certified tannery in the Santa Croce area, Tuscany. The sympathetic tannage of our Cashmere allows it to maintain all the hallmarks of a genuine leather. Died and not painted, it has a warmth, suppleness and a ‘perfectly imperfect’ beauty that, in a natural process called ‘patination,’ develops character as it ages.
