Elk Metz Short Dress - Facet Print

The Metz Short Dress is a shirt dress in the multi-coloured Facet Print, with an inverted back pleat that adds movement to its A-line shape. Cut from a silky, flowing ECOVERO™ viscose blend, it has a regular fit across the shoulders and falls around the knee. A detachable self-fabric belt allows you to define the waist or wear the silhouette loose. Elbow-length raglan sleeves, a classic collar and a button-through front complete the design, finished with side seam pockets. Wear with flats for everyday outings.

LENZING™ ECOVERO™ fibres are recognised by CanopyStyle and EU Ecolabel certification as meeting high standards for environmental practice. This includes a low risk of sourcing raw materials from ancient or endangered forests, and the recycling of water and chemicals in the processing stages. In addition to closed loop practices, LENZING™ ECOVERO™ aim to minimise the risk of pollution, through the cleaning of water before it is returned to nature, and engagement with ZDHC guidelines for safe chemical use. According to Higg's life cycle impact assessment data, LENZING™ ECOVERO™ branded viscose fibres generate up to 50% lower emissions and water impact compared to generic viscose.

Viscose is a man-made cellulosic fibre (MMCF), derived from wood pulp. It has a silk-like feel, fluid drape and comfortable breathability. Through our work with not-for-profit organisation Canopy, we are sourcing more than 95% of our MMCF fibres from producers that have a dark green shirt rating according to the most current CanopyStyle Hot Button Report, which is the highest possible rating. This rating is a reflection of Canopy's assessment of the producers' engagement with CanopyStyle audits, their contribution to conservation, innovation initiatives, sourcing policies, transparency and chemical management.
